Members at the European Level
AEGEE offers many different opportunities for development by becoming an active member at the European level of the association. From checking the finances as a member of the Audit Commission, to managing our European network in the Network Commission, or even becoming part of the Comité Directeur – the board of AEGEE-Europe! As a member active on the European level, you do not just develop yourself on both a personal and professional level, you can also contribute a lot to AEGEE-Europe as a whole.
Below, you can find an overview of all of our members that are currently active at the European level. Interested in becoming active yourself? Send an email to europeanaffairs@aegee-groningen.nl for more information!

Aleksandra Rachwalska
Communications Director of the Comité Directeur
Hola everyone! My name is Ola and at the European level of AEGEE I have the honour of being part of the Comité Directeur 61, as the Communications Director. As a board member and together with my team we are tasked with the day-to-day running of the organisation. More specifically in my portfolio I am in charge of the communication channels, statutory events, and I am a CD appointed member for several European Bodies. This is just a short list of my responsibilities 🤭. Being part of the Comité Directeur is a wonderful experience✨, during which you learn a lot.
Job Velthuis
Financial assistant to the Comité Directeur, Moderator Meme IG & Moderator excel IG
My name is Job Velthuis and I have been a member of AEGEE for 6 years now. I am also a member of AEGEE-Enschede where I have been active and on the board as treasurer and European Affairs. Nowadays I am active on the European level on several positions. I am a member of the AEGEEan, the online magazine of AEGEE-Europe, as a proofreader, besides that I am the Moderator of two interest groups (excel and meme), and lastly, I am a member of the financial team where I help the Financial Director with the tasks. There I am mostly busy with the finances of the projects, collecting the membership fee, and updating our bookkeeping system.
I would like to advise all members to at least go to some European events as I had the most wonderful experiences in my student life during them. If you like those then become also active in a committee, commission or working group.
